Majedie Asset Management, established in 2002, is an investment boutique that specialises in equities for institutional investors, private banks and individual investors across UK and Global strategies. Essentially the UK financial regulatory regime imposes a separate and additional structure of performance and competence review for a subset of “important” employees. The FCA takes great pains to establish senior management involvement in these regulatory workflows, which are different from the standard performance appraisal process and require a different set of permissions to allow senior Compliance staff oversight over the whole regulatory workflow set when they would not have access to the standard appraisal content.


MajMe is Majedie’s HR system, provided by Lanteria, whose generic name is Lanteria HR. It has proven an effective tool to manage employee absences, act as a repository for key employee data and documentation, and to run the annual 360 appraisal and performance review rounds. It is stable and fits well within Majedie’s SharePoint architecture.
